Just write about what dad means to you, what he does to make you feel special, and what makes him the No. 1 dad in the whole world and you'll get a free dinner treat for him at CPK. It's a fancy night out for dad that'll cost you nothing but only 300 to 500...WORDS.

California Pizza Kitchen is calling all kids 6 to 12 years of age to join the CPK Father’s Day Essay Contest. Interested participants may ask for essay forms at any CPK branch or you may download it through our website -- www.globalresto.com. If you are a CPKids member, the forms will automatically be sent to your email.

Go get started with your writing! Organize your thoughts and make a list of the best things about dad to get you all set to string them together into a nice, heartwarming essay. You can write absolutely anything under the sun about dad—the happy moments with him when you were growing up, those unforgettable bonding times during your outdoor adventures, or simply the sweet and silly antics that make him so endearing to you!

You may submit your essay until June 13 at any CPK branch or you may email it to marketing@globalresto.com. Take note of the deadline because you wouldn’t want dad to miss his chance to indulge in a CPK pizza-perfect feast and we wouldn’t accept a tardy entry either, especially if it’s as important as daddy. So kids, better give it your best shot because only one winner per CPK branch will be entitled to a free dinner for four (4).
